Ingredients - The new Weleda Beauty Balms are vegan (some of the other Weleda products are not, which is why we do not carry the full range). As you would expect from the brand, the balms contain powerful plant extracts including moisture-balancing iris root and cucumber, skin-refining organic witch hazel distillate and skin saviour jojoba oil. The mineral pigments used are nature identical which ensures that they have been ethically sourced - this is not always the case when mineral pigments are mined from the earth.
Skin type - Suitable for all skin types and can be combined with your daily oils or moisturisers for added hydration.
Shades - The new balms are available in two shades - Nude and Bronze, however can be combined to achieve your best colour match.
Coverage - It is a light coverage that can be easily built upon depending on your preference for the day. In comparison to our other tinted moisturisers and BB creams found here, Weleda’s new beauty balm would sit on the lighter end of the scale in terms of coverage, which is great for those days when you just want a subtle tint.
Finish - The creamy texture is incredibly lightweight and blends easily into the skin without clogging the pores. It leaves a semi-matte finish with a natural hint of colour.
Scent - There is a subtle scent to the balm which is due to the delicate blend of essential oils including rose geranium, ylang ylang and vanilla. Weleda never add synthetic fragrance to any of their products and choose to create scents from natural oils and plant extracts.
Certification - All Weleda products are certified by NATRUE - a non-profit organisation committed to promoting and protecting natural and organic standards worldwide.
