    ECO. Modern Essentials Bergamot Pure Essential Oil has a slightly sharp yet citrusy sweet scent that soothes our upsets and allows us the space to let our troubles drift away. A natural wonder derived from the rind of the citrus bergamia fruit, it has been cherished for centuries for its captivating aroma and versatile therapeutic properties.

    Blends well with: black pepper, clary sage, cypress, frankincense, geranium, jasmine, mandarin, orange, rosemary, sandalwood, vetiver and ylang ylang.

    Diffuser: Add 6-8 drops to a diffuser.

    Quick fix: Take a few deep inhalations from the bottle when at work, in the car, or anytime you need a quick break.

    Shower: Add 2-3 drops to the corner of the shower and enjoy the benefits of steam inhalation.

    Bath: Add up to 5 drops with a dispersant such as oil to the bath to create a relaxing atmosphere while nourishing your skin.

    Topical: Mix 1 drop of essential oil with 5ml carrier oil and apply to wrists, chest, or back of the neck.

    Hand or foot bath: Add 2 drops to a bowl of water.

    Compress: Add 2 drops of essential oil to a bowl of water. Use cold to room temperature water for inflammation or cooling. Use warm to hot water for aching or tight muscles. Soak a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture, and apply to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools or warms.

    Citrus bergamia (Bergamot Oil).

    Is this suitable for use during pregnancy? Use this oil with care. Avoid using essential oils during the first trimester unless you are under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.

    Is this suitable for children? This blend contains lemongrass, which can be a skin irritant for children. Essential oils are considered too strong for use on babies' skin (0-24 months) and can be overwhelming for their developing systems. When using in a diffuser, use fewer drops than you would for an adult (e.g. 2-3 drops).

    Is this suitable to use around pets? Not recommended for use around pets.

    Can this oil be ingested? Essential oils should not be taken internally unless you have consulted with a health professional or aromatherapist first.
