Eloments Ceylon Breakfast Vitamin Tea, a Toasty, Rich Black Tea

A single-origin black tea sourced from organic, family-owned farms in the Sri Lankan highlands. This is your ‘hard-working’ cup of breakfast tea, with warm orange, slight floral notes and vitamins! This tea is grown on small-scale farms by people who work with their environment.

Each tea bag contains 8 essential vitamins including B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B7, B9 and C, all derived from nutrient-rich herbs, fruits and botanicals.

This Ceylon Breakfast tea is sourced from two Fairtrade co-operatives in the lush Sri Lankan highlands. With the help of a local fair trade business called Bio Foods (Pvt) Ltd, the co-ops now farm over 24,400 acres and specialize in organic farming. Historically, these farmers have struggled to achieve a reasonable price for their tea leaves, but Fairtrade guarantees a minimum price per kg which is around 260% higher than the avg price.

Vegan and cruelty-free. Made in Sri Lanka from local and imported ingredients. Packaged in plastic-free teabags and a cardboard box.

Brew 1 tea bag in 95 degree water for 5 minutes. Notice any dust in the tea envelope? This is the fruit and herbal extracts, please tip this goodness into your cup.

The cardboard box can usually be recycled in kerbside recycling or composted. Check with your local council if they will take it and what criteria they have for recycling it. See our recycling 101 blog post for more information. The tea bags and paper label can also be composted.

Thanks for disposing responsibly.

Ceylon black tea, lemon extract, holy basil extract, guava extract, amla extract, sesbania extract, annatto extract.

The ingredients list does not contain vitamins, that’s because Eloments don’t add synthetic vitamins. Instead they blend nutrient-rich extracts from organic herbs, fruits and botanicals, along with other co-factors and co-nutrients present in the plant, to aid absorption.
