Product Description

ECO. Modern Essentials Tea Tree Pure Essential Oil is an uplifting and stimulating essential oil with a clearing, camphor-like aroma for the mind and body. This versatile essential oil can be used in cleaning products as an effective broad-spectrum disinfectant due to its antimicrobial action. Tea tree oil can also be added to DIY recipes for acne, hair treatments and body wash.

Blends well with: bergamot, eucalyptus, grapefruit, juniper berry, lavender, lemon, marjoram and rosemary.

Benefits:

  • Help clear acne-prone skin
  • Assist in protecting against cold and flu
  • Natural antiseptic
  • Helps with respiratory complaints
  • May help with fungal infections

Diffuser: Add 6-8 drops to your diffuser.

Quick fix: A few deep inhalations from the bottle can help when you are at work, in the car or anytime you need a quick break.

Shower: Add 2-3 drops to the corner of the shower.

Bath: Add up to 5 drops to a dispersant such as oil or honey, then add to the bath.

Hand or foot bath: Add 2 drops to a bowl of water to treat nail and fungal infections.

Compress: Add 2 drops to a bowl of water. For treating inflammation or to cool down, use cold to room temperature water. For aching tight muscles, use warm to hot water. Agitate a face washer in the water, wring out excess moisture, and apply the washer to the affected area. Repeat two or three times as the compress cools down or warms up.

Steam treatment: Add 2 drops to a bowl of steaming hot water. Place your face close to the bowl and cover the back of your head and bowl with a towel to trap the aromatic vapours. Keep eyes covered during treatment to avoid the risk of burns and scalding.

Melaleuca alternifolia (Tea Tree Oil).

Is this suitable for use during pregnancy?
Use this oil with care. It is best used in a diffuser or diluted with a carrier oil (at a 1% ratio). Avoid using essential oils during the first trimester unless you are under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.

Is this suitable for children?
Keep out of reach of children. Essential oils are considered too strong for use on babies' skin (0-24 months) and can be overwhelming for their developing systems. When using in a diffuser, use fewer drops than you would for an adult (e.g. 2-3 drops).

Is this suitable to use around pets?
Not recommended for use around pets.

Can this oil be ingested?
Not to be taken.
