The Benefits of Manuka Oil

Oct 21, 2017by Julie - F&F

Manuka Oil is known to be antibacterial, anti-fungal, anti-histaminic, anti-allergenic, anti-dandruff and good for insect bites so a great natural remedy. Many prefer using this over the highly regarded Australian Tea Tree Oil.

Antibacterial

Manuka oil is antibacterial and helps to curb bacterial growth and bacterial attacks. It is excellent to be used to help dandruff which is often caused by an infection and it nourishes the scalp. Massage a few drops of Passionate Skin Care Skin Food Serum into your scalp at night to help.

Anti-fungal

It can help with fungal infections such as running ears, athletes foot and other fungal infections.

Anti-inflammatory

The Essential Oil of Manuka is anti-inflammatory in nature.

We can get inflammation in many guises whether that be from a cold, flu, bites or more. This essential oil can relieve this inflammation. Masage some Passionate Skin Care Skin Food Balm into your skin to help relieve inflammation.

Anti-histaminic

These properties really help to calm bites, stings and is a good natural alternative.

Anti-allergenic

Many of us suffer from allergies whether that be pollen, dust, cats, horses and manuka oil can calm and sedate these reactions giving relief.

At Flora & Fauna we have manuka oil in a few products including Passionate Skin Care Skin Food which is a wonderful multi-purpose balm that can be used everyday and their serum, a nourishing serum to use on your skin. Manuka Oil can also be found in Lily Lolo Eyeshadows and Noosa Basics Dental Floss
