They are formulated to steadily increase blood sugar levels without creating a precipitous sugar crash. So, whether you're on a 100km bike ride or exploring a new trail, this energy bar is built to sustain your adventure.

Note: The dairy free chocolate is made in a factory where non-vegan chocolate is also made which is why the packaging says that it may contain traces of milk.

For best results, CLIF Bars should be eaten 1-3 hours before activity, along with water, to help prevent hunger and provide energy to working muscles.

During prolonged, lower-intensity activity such as hiking or bike touring, they can be eaten during exercise to help satisfy hunger and meet carbohydrate needs. CLIF Bars are also suitable after exercise, as a snack between meals or during a long, busy day to help supplement energy and nutrients as needed.
