Growing your own produce is made easy with The Little Veggie Patch Co's heirloom seeds. The Eggplant 'Florida Market' Seeds produce very large purple, bell-shaped fruit. This variety if eggplant is excellent for temperate and subtropical climates. The neck of the plant has nasty little spikes, please pick with care. There are approximately 25-30 seeds per packet and they grow harmoniously with Cucumbers. Vegan and cruelty free.

When to plant:
- Zone 1: September - November
- Zone 2: August - December

Soil: A couple of weeks prior to planting, prepare the soil by incorporating a high level of organic matter, such as compost and well-rotted animal manure.
Soil pH level: 6.0–7.0
Position: Choose a sunny, hot position in free-draining soil. Eggplant will appreciate the heat.
How to plant: Propagate in seed trays, then transplant the seedlings into the veggie patch. Eggplant are suitable for larger pots, but prefer an in-ground veggie patch.
Spacing: 40cm-60cm
Depth: 0.5cm-1cm
