    Eco Max Sisal Body Brush, in a small bristle with coir handle.

    This Body Brush is perfect for dry brushing and is made out of sustainable timber and natural vegetable fibres. Ethically handmade in Sri Lanka.

    Note: If any fibres fall out when new don't worry that's extra fibres left in from when it's made. 

    Using Fair Trade principles all the handmade components use natural unbleached materials, such as the Alistonia timber and sisal or waste products, such as the coco fibre from coconut husks and rubberwood, a waste product from rubber production. Even the sealant used on the timber is a non-toxic toy paint sealer so it’s animal and child-friendly and the wire is galvanised so it won’t rust.

    The Eco Max Range can be put into your compost bin where they will breakdown naturally leaving only a piece of wire to recycle.

    Perform brushing only on dry skin for the best stimulation and exfoliation. When plant bristles get wet, they soften and clump together.

    • Use a soft-bristle brush for the face, neck, décolletage, and bikini areas.
    • Brush in upward strokes using light pressure, repeating each stroke about seven times.
    • Start by brushing one side of the body (left or right) before moving to the other side.
    • Adjust the pressure to your comfort. Slight reddening of the skin (erythema) is normal and indicates increased blood circulation in response to brushing.
    • Shower or bathe immediately after brushing to refresh the skin and wash away exfoliated cells.

    Never brush over inflamed areas such as open wounds, inflamed sores, varicose veins, sunburned skin, active cancer sites, or enlarged lymph nodes.
