2. Tell us about the Bakuchiol 4% Natural Retinol Alternative Booster – what can we expect from this nourishing formula?
Formulated with 4% Bakuchiol, LAMAV’s natural retinol alternative was created to target wrinkles, dullness and acne without the irritation of Retinol. Derived from the Babchi plant, bakuchiol is a powerful bioactive used traditionally in Ayurvedic and Chinese medicine to support skin health.
The addition of adaptogenic herbs such as Ashwagandha, along with powerful antioxidants create a potent but gentle cocktail for your skin to soak in and enjoy the smoothing and plumping results! Regular use can lead to an improvement in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, improved elasticity and a smoother, more refined complexion.
3. What skin types is the Bakuchiol 4% Natural Retinol Alternative Booster best suited for?
Without the irritating effects of vitamin A, Bakuchiol is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin and pregnant/breastfeeding women. However, as with any new skincare product we always recommend patch testing prior to full use.
4. Do you have any tips when applying this product?
As bakuchiol can encourage cellular turnover, it’s best to use this at night to avoid sun exposure immediately after application. For optimum results use 3-4 times per week after cleansing and toning. Press a small amount onto the face, neck and décolletage. Wait for 1-2 minutes before continuing with your serums, oils and moisturisers.
5. What are your 3 tips for a healthy glow?

Start from the inside with adequate hydration, omega 3 fatty acids from healthy whole foods and avoiding excessive processed foods.
