Agreena 3 in 1 Kitchen Eco Kitchen Wrap.

This pack contains 4 vegan Agreena food wraps with 2 x 20cm square wraps and two large 30cm square wraps.

Agreena 3-in-1 Wrap™ replaces 3 commonly used kitchen wraps: cling film, aluminium foil, and baking paper. It contains no petrochemicals, BPA, or lead. It's breathable, doesn't store odours, and you can just wash it with warm soapy water and reuse again and again.

The 3-in-1 Wrap can withstand temperatures up to 220°C (428°F) in an oven environment and will stretch and stick to anything, creating a seal to protect your food, your family, and your planet.

The small wrap can wrap half an onion, half a lemon, half an avocado etc. The larger wrap can cover a dish, bowl or be used to line a baking tray.

Caring for your Wraps

Wash your Agreena 3-in-1 Wrap in warm soapy water and hang off the edge of a bench or countertop, or stick them to your splashback or tiled wall to dry. Once dry stick to the backing sheet they came with and place in a drawer.

What is the Agreena Wrap made of?

Agreena 3-in-1 Wraps are made from 100% pure silicone, with no fillers. Silicone is a rubber that contains oxygen bonded with silicon, a natural element that is abundant in sand and rock. Food grade silicone is known for its heat-resistant and rubber-like qualities and is safe for the oven, microwave, fridge, and freezer. It is what they call a “stable compound”, meaning that it will not change the flavour or release odours that might affect food quality.

Top Tips

  • Keep away from sharp or pointy objects (do NOT use the Agreena Wrap as a cutting mat).
  • Do not exceed 220°C (428°F) in the oven.
  • Do not allow the wrap to come in direct contact with heat sources (like a BBQ hot plate or frying pan)
  • Sugar or honey based syrups and acidic substances can cause discolouration and weakness.
  • Wash with very warm, soapy water and dry after each use.
  • Make sure that the Agreena Wrap, your hands, and the item being sealed are completely dry to ensure good adherence.

    Agreena wraps

Fantastic for wrapping lunches such as salad wraps or rolls that need to be constrained. Also good for flat baking trays in a moderate heat oven - NOT good for lining pie dishes or cake tins. Works well to cover fairly large dishes before placing in the fridge; however cannot be REsealed once the dish has condensation on it (much like glad wrap I guess). I don't think it's suitable as an alfoil substitute though. Clean, dry Agreena sticks to itself very well - I suspect some other reviewers are not washing or rinsing it in the suggested way? I watched the Agreena videos first and had no trouble.

Much Better than other wraps I have purchased

These wrap cover bowls in the fridge and stay on. They are tricky to wash as they a very "floppy". The big on fit my biggest bowl which is great and you can see inside so know know what left over. Unlike Beeswax wraps where the contents of bowls are often a mystery. The small or midsize wrap is very useful as you can wrap an apple, cheese or anything else. The only problem is they still stick together so a little tricky to store. Good for baking too

    Okay

Not bad for wrapping/ folding around something as long as it doesn't need to be tightly wrapped. However not the best to seal over containers, it doesn't stick to the glass well causing it to cave in or not tightly cover. Have yet to try it for baking.
The wraps are also hard to wash. However a good step to reducing the need for cling wrap.

    alright

These are very difficult to wash, and generalyl doesnt stick to itself, therefore making it very difficult to use as a cling wrap/food cover. However they are very effective for baking and I would highly recconment for this purpose.

    Cling wrap alternative

I find them tricky to use and haven’t been able to get them to seal properly.

    Work well, hard to clean

These work really well for what they are intended. I use them in the oven instead of baking paper and to wrap food up for lunches, they are quite sticky so seal well.
Only downside I've found is they tend to be a bit tricky to clean. Otherwise really good.

    Works perfectly

Easy to wash easy to use and works perfectly. Just make sure to soap up well and rinse well and it will stick perfectly to itself, glass, plastic everything doubles in the caravan as clingwrap and a liner for the grill/oven just watch the temperature

    wonder plastic

I have used these in the grill when cooking sausages (instead of foil), in the oven for pastry (instead of baking paper) and in the fridge (instead of glad wrap) and have found they stand up to the task really well.

Awful to clean, excellent for freezer use

So...these were used a few times before I grew so frustrated with them that I threw them in the cupboard for months. They are infuriating to deal with, especially when washing (and no, it didn't change after a few washes like the company said on their leaflet), and when I cooked with them they retained the scent of the food even after multiple washes. So...for their intended use, they're atrocious. Others may have better luck, and clearly some do if the reviews are any indication. However, months after throwing them in the cupboard, I had a thought. Have you ever had that experience where you need to freeze something and don't want to separate using plastic, but if you freeze them all together, you'll end up with a huge frozen mass that's impossible to separate? For me, it's the vegan burger patties I buy, those things stick together like nobody's business. I cut one of these wraps up into four, placed a square between each burger patty, and popped the container in the freezer. Lo and behold, they're perfect! They don't stick to the items, they don't stick to each other or anything else, so they can be easily removed, washed (and they're much more tolerable to wash when they're palm-sized), and ready to use again for the next thing. Now I love them, for this purpose. I absolutely would never recommend them for what they are meant for, though.
