Black Chicken Remedies is the brainchild of Chey Birch. She began experimenting with aromatherapy in 1989 in Bondi, Australia. Chey was very conscious we absorb what we put on our skin. She wanted to find a way to reduce the chances of developing chronic health conditions, to assist the body in a natural way and harness the therapeutic power of natural oils to enhance wellbeing, physically and spiritually.

Black Chicken Remedies benefits are not only absorbed through the skin but also through the olfactory system.  The fragrance itself, with hints of the tropical and deep surf notes, is a powerful activating factor.  Designed for men and women, it responds differently with each, and the unique experience it provides transcends gender.

Best applied to damp skin after a shower or bath. You can rub this oil literally all over your body. Don’t forget to take your time and put a bit of love into your skincare ritual.

It’s also wonderful added to a bath to calm and sooth your mind and body.

Avocado Oil – Contains Vitamins A, B1, B2, D, E, and Beta carotene. It soothes and moisturises dry, mature, and climate damaged skin.

Rosehip Oil – Is extremely high in essential fatty acids. It helps reduce wrinkles and is known for tissue regeneration in treating burns, scars and stretch marks.

Hazelnut Oil – Well known for its astringent qualities, it’s deeply penetrating and stimulating to the circulatory system and it helps to tone and tighten the skin.

Sandalwood Essential Oil – Has a calming, harmonizing effect helping reduce tension and anxiousness. It’s a great remedy for stress, depression and fear. It’s also excellent for dehydrated skin and relieves itching and inflammation.

Geranium Bourbon Essential Oil – Is great for keeping skin supple and balancing the production of sebum – the fatty secretion in sebaceous glands.
