Wish it was betterBy: Hollie on 27 February 2019Have been using it the last couple of days on an island holiday. Yesterday I plastered myself with it before having breakfast. It's quite sticky but kind of soaks in a bit eventually... After breakfast (about an hour after applying) I went for a walk along the beach then sat in the shade to read for a couple of hours. Because I was a bit sweaty when I walked and it had been a decent amount of time since applying, I applied again and waited another half hour for it to soak in before walking back and going for a swim. I got so incredibly burnt on my neck and face. The only areas that survived was under my shirt. My forehead and nose are so red. I'm afraid this sunscreen isn't effective at all, which is disappointing for the price. If anyone can recommend a vegan, reef safe sunscreen that actually works please let me know!
Sunburn Free!By: Breanne on 29 January 2019We've had a scorcher of a weekend and it gave me a great opportunity to put this screen to the test. With 40+ days this weekend, I spent it in bathers in the river with minimal shade... I am so happy to say that I'm not the slightest bit burnt (unlike some of my friends). This is a zinc based sunscreen so a little thicker than the rest, but it soaks in fine after a couple of minutes, the white hue goes away and you're left with what feels like hydrated skin! I am so happy that this has worked so well and will recommend it to all of my friends and family!!
The best sunscreenBy: Brittany on 31 October 2018This is the only sunscreen I have bought for over 10 years now. It is all natural and makes your skin better from all of the good ingredients in it. Plus I have never been burnt when wearing it, it works really well and you still get tanned from the sun.
Protects skin when dryBy: Anonymous on 3 October 2018It work well when you keep yourself dry and almost scentless. Would be great to have SPF 50 and be less runny in hot weather. It does leave my skin shiny and sticky though - not a big fan of sand sticking to my skin.
I never use sunscreen to be honest...By: Alannah Wright on 25 February 2018But this one takes the cake. I chose not to wear "regular" sunscreen because I knew what it could do to my skin, to my body, and to the creatures in the ocean. I refuse to lather myself in something so toxic. I've tried a few vegan sunscreens in the past but never really loved them. This one, while it is a little oily, it doesn't leave me pasty white which I like. I've learned it doesn't take much to go far (and probably wasted a bit while I was first using it), so I'm not sure how long it's supposed to last but so far, I've not been burnt or even gone tan so it's definitely working. I only use it on days when I work outside in the sun all day which is about once a week.
