This plastic-free dishwashing bar contains Lemon-Scented Gum and Eucalyptus so your dishes smell fresh. These ingredients contain odour-neutralising and antimicrobial properties that effectively cleans dirty dishes. This bar is 100% natural and skin-safe with multiple ways to use them. Shampoo With A Purpose was founded by mother-daughter duo Liz and Geneva. With Liz's 40 years of experience running Australia's oldest family-own soap mill, Shampoo With A Purpose was born. They created vegan and cruelty-free bars without the harsh chemicals, palm oil, sulphates or animal by-products. Each bar is pH balanced for use on the scalp and hair. Since their launch, they have successfully provided a simple and easy option to help reduce plastic consumption waste without compromising on the quality of each bar.

How to use

Keep the bar on your sink in a tray, dish, soap holder or shallow plate.

There are many ways that you can use it, here are a few methods we suggest:

Simply rub the bar with your cleaning utensil, and wash dishes
Grate and mix with hot or boiling water to make a liquid
Leave soaking in a shallow plate, you can use the water on your scrubber, or pour directly onto dishes.
For pots and pans with build-up and grime, grate a light amount then fill with hot water and soak for easy cleaning.

Suitable to hot or cold wash. DO NOT USE IN A MACHINE DISHWASHER.

Always thoroughly rinse your dishes for the best results.

How to Dispose

Comes in a cardboard box that can be composted or recycled. Check with your local council if they will take it and what criteria they have for recycling it. See our recycling 101 blog post for more information.

The best dishwashing soap ever!

I love this so much! It cleans amazingly it bubbles nice and thick so it feels like it's doing the job, and by god it does the best job! Highly recommend!

great soap! great price!

I've tried almost all the soaps at F&F for dish washing and have found this to be the best value for money. It is a bit different switching to bar soap from your common liquid soap, as bar soap tends not to have surds making it less bubbly, but that does not mean your dishes are not clean! I find that bar soap does a great job if you scrub all your dishes, if you have had oily food you may need to apply a bit more of the soap on, but otherwise it works well, smells good, good for the environment, and is very decently price.

Nice smell perfect bar

I love the smell and I love how easy is to use it to wash the dishes and I dont even use a soap cage only a coconut pad to wash the dishes

Dish soap

Just started using the cage & dish soap so I don’t have to keep buying the bottles. Love this as I fill the sink & wipe down all surfaces with the soap. Leaves a lovesly smell in my kitchen & cleans dishes well.

Great idea

I was excited to try this dish soap but it left me disappointed. It doesn't lather well, and when I used a cage or rubbed between my hands the suds didn't last long. I also found that it left a slimy residue on the glasses and dishes. I will try other brands to see the difference, though love the idea of no plastic or waste.

Great product

I really like this product. It is easy to use (just rub it a little under the hot tap as you fill the sink), it cleans the dishes well and it lasts well for the price. I really enjoy the lemon-scented gum fragrance and the fact that there is no plastic packaging.
