Green + Kind Bamboo Toothbrush with Medium Bristles and a Turtle Design
This bamboo toothbrush is made with medium black bristles and comes complete with a bamboo round handle with a turtle design. If you love the ocean, and love our environment, you'll simply love this toothbrush and you'll be able to tell it apart from all the other toothbrushes in the bathroom.
We dispose over 30 million plastic toothbrushes every year in Australia alone straight into landfill choking our planet and ending up in our rivers and oceans harming marine life. Turtles are greatly impacted by plastic in the ocean as it looks like their food so we all need to take action. These toothbrushes can be put in the composter. Note that the bristles are nylon and are not biodegradable or compostable.
Green + Kind is founded by us folk at Flora & Fauna. Green + Kind focus on ethical products that have minimal impact on the environment but are also good for us. Green + Kind believe there are better alternatives to things we use every day and they like to do it with a twist. Green + Kind are heavily focused on conservation whether that be marine, animal or the environment.
Brush with your bamboo toothbrush twice a day. Change your toothbrush every 6 to 8 weeks. Compost when finished.
Note the bristles aren't biodegradable.
Bamboo toothbrush. Nylon bristles.
Testing alternativesBy: Anonymous on 15 July 2019This product is good, but not yet up to the standards of plastic toothbrushes. The bristles are of a softer standard so would recommend going medium if you usually go soft. It is a good alternative but needs more development of bristles.
Nice to holdBy: Anonymous on 30 September 2018This is my favourite toothbrush to hold out of all the eco friendly ones I've tried. It has a smooth, large handle, unlike some of the others which feel a bit small in my hand. The only thing I'd say is the bristles felt quite firm for 'medium' so I'll try 'soft' for my next purchase.

A bit of getting used toBy: Sarah on 14 March 2018This is my first bamboo toothbrush, it felt a little strange in my mouth the first few times and the bristles although medium like my old toothbrush seem softer. After regular use it now seems normal, the bamboo does feel dry and scratchy and the neck if the toothbrush is too large to fit my little cap over. I was disappointed to see it was made in china. After two weeks I'm already thinking about a bbew toothbrush. Unlikely to re-purchase but will try other brands.
