This bamboo toothbrush is made with medium black bristles and comes complete with a bamboo round handle with a shark design. If you are a shark fan you'll simply love this toothbrush and you'll be able to tell it apart from all the other toothbrushes in the bathroom.
We dispose over 30 million plastic toothbrushes every year in Australia alone straight into landfill choking our planet and ending up in our rivers and oceans harming marine life. Turtles are greatly impacted by plastic in the ocean as it looks like their food so we all need to take action. These toothbrushes can be put in the composter. Note that the bristles are nylon and are not biodegradable or compostable.

Husband loves these

Great product
Great toothbrush, easy to use and a good weight/thickness - feels like using a regular toothbrush. It also doesn't splinter in my experience; this is what I was most worried about but I've been using bamboo toothbrushes for months now without any mishaps!Location

Great, but bulky head
We find these toothbrushes great. This is our first try at bamboo toothbrushes and I was very glad for medium strength (we find 'soft' too soft), the medium is great for us. Well made, no splintering, no splayed bristles after a few weeks of use, good density and quantity of bristles.
Also good to have the animals as identifiers.
As I haven't tried other bamboo toothbrushes, I'm not sure if the bulky head is a standard thing, (but it seems possible looking at pictures). This does irritate parts of my mouth a little, so will try others to see how they go.Location

Good toothbrush!
This is the first bamboo toothbrush I've purchased since I've started making sustainable swaps. While I do love using it, the head/handle is a little bulkier than conventional toothbrushes, which isn't a bad thing, but did take a few uses to get used to and is a bit of a heads up for other first-time bamboo toothbrush users. The bristles are awesome and I have no complaints with them; the number of bristles and the area that they cover is also far more optimal than conventional toothbrushes, in terms of both controlling toothpaste dosing (you end up using exactly what you need - I always found that I put too much on when using regular toothbrushes) and for getting in between teeth for a good clean. The bristle hardness (medium) is also perfect for me, I found.
The only reason I rate this toothbrush four instead of five stars is because I did notice a little bit of (very light/minimal) splintering where the handle thins towards the head after the first time I used it. While I cleaned this up quickly and don't think I've got any splinters, I thought I'd give other users a heads up! I wouldn't stop using this toothbrush, though, and I found that the splinters were only hair thin and probably not large enough to do any damage.
I plan on trying a few other bamboo toothbrushes just to do my due diligence in making sure that I'm buying the best product, but if none of those are better than this one, I'll definitely purchase it again in future!

GREAT SUSTAINABLE TOOTHBRUSH
I've trialed a few bamboo toothbrushes over the years, and these are by far my favourite! They're a great size and I love the medium strength bristles. I've never had any problem with bristles falling out or bamboo splinters like I've had with other brand toothbrushes. Very happy :)Location
