Eco Toothbrush Biodegradable Toothbrush in a Medium bristle available online at Flora & Fauna.
The Eco Toothbrush biodegradable toothbrush is the solution to the 30 million toothbrushes disposed of each year in Australia. These toothbrushes either end up in land fill for who knows how long or floating around in the ocean and washing up on our beaches or river banks. This toothbrush is bamboo, even the packaging is biodegradable.
The Eco toothbrush bamboo charcoal enhanced bristles are more moisture proof and antibacterial than normal bristles which can help to keep the bristles dry, keep away from bacterium breeding, leaving the mouth more comfortable, healthy with clean, and white teeth. This toothbrush also has a bend in the handle for your comfort.
The bristles are made of a polymer but are charcoal enhanced.
What types are available?
That is an easy one to answer - Although most dentists will only recommend a SOFT bristle we have found that approx 45% of Australians use a Medium toothbrush. We have soft and medium in the Eco toothbrush and soft, medium and child in the Enviro toothbrush.
We use MOSO bamboo - why - because bamboo is part of the grass family so we are not cutting down trees - MOSO Bamboo is one of the fastest growing bamboo's in the world and our friendly pandas do not like to eat it.
Best toothbrushBy: Laura on 3 August 2018Really happy with this toothbrush- the bristles are still in good condition after two months of using. With other toothbrushes, I’ve usually had to replace it after a month as the bristles go. Will definitely be staying with this one!!
Amazing!By: Kim on 20 July 2018It’s great knowing you can clean your teeth with a non plastic toothbrush!! Dentist is happy, I’m happy.
Surprisingly goodBy: Elizabeth on 15 July 2018For a medium brush it was very soft. I was worried that I would not be able to properly clean my orthodontic retainers, but it did a pretty good job.
Nice, but not for meBy: Anonymous on 20 June 2018I really didn’t like the feel of the bamboo rubbing on my cheeks and around my mouth, it did leave my teeth feeling great, but not a brush I will use again due to the texture issue
Looks cool & works well so far :-)By: Gemma on 13 June 2018Definitely looks more stylish than normal plastic toothbrushes, looks very nice. The bristles are actually quite a lot softer than what I'd normally use, even though I normally buy medium. Works well so far though, I suppose only time will tell. My only bug bear is the price but happy to pay more for a more sustainable product.
