Compostic Home Compostable Resealable Snack Bags

Say goodbye to conventional plastic snack bags with these home compostable resealable bags. Made from biopolymers PBAT and PLA, Compostic is certified non-toxic and is home compostable in 12-24 weeks. Once broken down, Compostic leaves behind a soil enhancer that helps improve soil quality. Freezer and microwave safe. Bag size: 15cm x 9cm.

Vegan and cruelty free. Made in China. Packaged in a cardboard box.

Compostic is a company based in New Zealand founded with the goal to eradicate the need for traditional non-compostable plastics in the home. Compostic's products are 100% home compostable and free from conventional plastics. Once broken down, Compostic products leave behind a soil enhancer that helps improve soil quality.

Freezer safe. Microwave safe.

The cardboard can usually be recycled in kerbside recycling or composted. Check with your local council if they will take it and what criteria they have for recycling it. The bag will break down in home compost in 12-24 weeks and is also worm-safe. The zip will break down in compost but will take longer than the bag. See our recycling 101 blog post for more information.

Thanks for disposing responsibly.

PLA (polylactic acid) and PBAT (polybutylene adipate terephthalate)
