There is no doubt lots of you love the vegan food wraps we have and we get lots of questions. Here is everything you need to know about these amazing biodegradable wraps that don't just look beautiful in your kitchen but also help the environment.

What are they?

You may have head of beeswax wraps that people use to cover bowls and wrap food in. Well these vegan food wraps work the same except we don't use beeswax; plant waxes are used instead. They are made with 100% cotton, two plant waxes (candelilla and soy), tree resin and jojoba oil. They are an alternative to cling wrap and 100% biodegradable so much, much better for our planet. Plus they are bright and beautiful too!

Where are they made?

They are handmade in sunny South Australia.

What do you use them for?

You can use them to cover bowls, wrap sandwiches, fruit, veg, leftovers and you can also make pockets to put nuts and snacks in. I'd avoid putting anything strong smelling in them as the smell will

What size are they?

You have options here. If you get a standard pack you will receive 3 vegan food wraps with 2 x 25cm square wraps and one large 35cm square wrap. You can also buy individual jumbo wraps that are 30x50cm in size. You can also cut these down to the size you need.

How do I wash them?

Wipe them over with a damp cloth. Stay away from harsh detergents as that will strip the wax.

How long do they last?

This really depends on how often you use them and how you clean them. We say around 6 months but ours are a good nine months old.

Any Top Tips?

When you open the pack they may need warming up to get the plant waxes to become mouldable so warm between your hands. If it's the height of Summer you definitely won't need to do this.

They can go in the fridge covering bowls; once they're out just leave them at room temperature to warm up before wiping them over.

Once they are at the end of their life chuck them in a composter to return to nature.
